Population Enhancement Results
- Success in the stocking program depends on many things: capture of spawning sturgeon, collection of eggs, hatching of eggs, rearing of fry, etc.
- Differences in these factors from year to year determine how many sturgeon fry (newly hatched) or fingerlings (about 3–4 months old) are available for stocking.
